I don’t know if I can read Atlas Shrugged, as the word “Taggart” displeases me so.
My mother was always prodding me to read Ayn Rand in High School. Now she offers me Southern Chick Lit.
Now with fringe!

Ayn Rand is one of those authors I find pretentious and preachy. I can’t remember if The Man read The Fountainhead or Atlas Shrugged but he hated the experience. I couldn’t even finish Anthem and that’s a tiny book.

Oh, Qui, many illiterate poseurs haven’t read Rand. But that doesn’t keep them from carrying around Atlas Shrugged.

I’ve read both The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged sometime in college. It was good for me at the time, when I needed a kick in the pants.
